Messaging & SMS Terms
Last updated: September 4, 2026
These terms describe the text messaging program operated by Washera Inc through the Rebookly platform. Rebookly sends SMS and WhatsApp messages to customers of the barbershops and salons that use Rebookly, on behalf of those shops. If you booked an appointment at a shop that uses Rebookly, this page explains what you will receive and how to stop it.
Summary. You get appointment messages from the shop you booked with. Message frequency varies based on your appointment activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or email ceo@washeraapp.com. We do not sell or share your mobile opt-in information or consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
1. Program description
The Rebookly messaging program is an appointment and customer care program. If you give a participating barbershop or salon your mobile number and agree to receive messages, Rebookly will send you messages on that shop’s behalf about your appointments with that shop. Specifically, you may receive:
- Appointment confirmations — sent when you book, confirming the shop, service, staff member, date and time.
- Appointment reminders — sent ahead of your appointment, with an easy way to confirm, reschedule or cancel.
- Reschedule and cancellation notices — sent when your appointment is moved or cancelled, whether you made the change or the shop did.
- Customer service replies — if you message the shop’s number with a question (hours, location, price, availability, running late), Rebookly replies on the shop’s behalf and can pass the conversation to shop staff.
This program does not send marketing or promotional messages. Every message relates to an appointment you made or a question you asked. If a shop ever wants to send you promotional offers, that requires separate, explicit consent from you under a separate program.
2. How you opt in (consent)
You are added to the program only when you give a participating shop your mobile number and agree to receive appointment-related messages at that number. That happens in one of these ways:
- Booking online. On the shop’s Rebookly booking page you enter your mobile number and tick a clearly labelled, unchecked consent box agreeing to receive appointment confirmations, reminders and related messages from that shop by SMS. The consent box is not pre-ticked, is not bundled with any other agreement, and ticking it is not a condition of any purchase.
- Booking in person or over the phone. Shop staff or the Rebookly AI receptionist asks whether you would like appointment confirmations and reminders by text, and records your answer along with the number you provide. If you say no, you are not enrolled.
- Scanning the shop’s QR code. The QR code displayed in the shop opens the shop’s Rebookly booking page, where the same online opt-in described above applies.
- Messaging the shop first. If you send a text or WhatsApp message to the shop’s number, we reply to that conversation so we can help you. Starting the conversation does not enrol you in reminders; you are asked separately if you want them.
Consent is given to the specific shop you booked with, for that shop’s appointment messages. It is not consent for any other shop, for Washera Inc to message you about its own products, or for any third party to message you. You must be the account holder of the mobile number you provide, or have the account holder’s permission, and you must be old enough to enter into this agreement.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your appointment activity. There is no fixed number of messages. As a guide, a single appointment normally produces one confirmation message and one reminder message, plus a notice if the appointment is changed or cancelled, plus replies to any questions you send. If you book more often, you receive more messages; if you do not book, you do not receive messages.
4. Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Rebookly and the shop do not charge you for these messages, but your mobile carrier may charge you for messages sent and received, depending on your plan. Check with your carrier if you are unsure.
5. How to opt out (STOP)
Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You can also reply with END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE or QUIT. When we receive your opt-out request we immediately remove your number from the program and send you one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed and will not receive further messages. After that confirmation, we will not send you any more messages from that shop’s number unless you opt in again.
You can also opt out by telling shop staff, or by emailing ceo@washeraapp.com from or including the mobile number you want removed.
If you opt out, you can still book appointments by calling or visiting the shop — you simply will not receive text confirmations or reminders. To start receiving messages again, reply START to the shop’s number or ask the shop to opt you back in.
6. How to get help (HELP)
Reply HELP for help, or email ceo@washeraapp.com. Replying HELP returns a message identifying the shop and Rebookly, and telling you how to opt out and how to reach us. You can contact Washera Inc at any time at 11201 Reston Station Blvd, Unit 420, Reston, VA 20190, United States.
7. Privacy and sharing of your mobile information
Mobile opt-in information and consent are not shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
All other categories of personal information are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Information may be shared with the service providers who operate the program on our behalf — for example the telecommunications provider that delivers the message — strictly so that the messages you asked for can be sent, and with the shop you booked with, which needs to know about your appointment. Those providers may not use your mobile information for their own marketing.
8. Sample messages
These are examples of the kinds of messages the platform sends. [Shop Name], [Stylist] and similar bracketed items are placeholders filled in with real details for your booking.
9. Supported carriers and delivery
We send messages through licensed United States messaging providers to major and regional US wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed and can be affected by your device, coverage, carrier filtering or your plan. Please do not rely on text messages alone for anything time-critical — contact the shop directly if you are unsure about an appointment.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always posted at rebookly.net/sms with the date it was last updated. Continuing to receive messages after an update means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, reply STOP.
